Fair share of power : K-P govt forms technical committee

The provincial government has formed a technical committee to investigate issues behind the province’s failure to get its share from the daily power generation of the country. The committee, comprising two members, including the provincial secretary for power and energy and another technical expert from the Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization (PEDO), will hold meetings with officials of Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) to compile a report and present it before the provincial government. The committee was formed in a meeting of parliamentarians from all parties of K-P on Wednesday. It was chaired by Chief Minister Pervez Khattak.
