Anushka Sharma -- who was blamed for Virat Kohli's poor batting performance at the World Cup 2015 -- definitely has a lot more to say to clarify her stance.

In the latest episode of Look Who’s Talking with Niranjan Iyenger on Zee Cafe, Bollywood actress opened up about the criticism she had received after her boyfriend was dismissed in the World Cup's semi-final match against Australia.

“People saying something like this implies that an international player of that repute doesn’t have the ability to take care of his career," said Anushka, reported Pinkvilla.

"They were saying that he has lost his mind now. Some apsara (celestial nymph) has come and distracted him or something like that.

"They just have lot of hatred and they are putting it out there," she added.

Earlier in March, Anushka had travelled to Sydney to support her boyfriend and watch India take on the home team. But India’s World Cup final hopes were shattered when Virat's wicket took a hit.

Anushka was severely criticised for bringing bad luck to the Indian team. Twitter went abuzz to attribute Virat's dismissal as Anushka's fault. But the couple remained undeterred and arrived hand in hand back to India.

The NH10 actress has clarified -- on many occasions -- that she isn't responsible for the defeat but with this recent statement it seems that Anushka isn't over the whole ordeal as yet.
