MIRPUR: Water reached the maximum level in Mangla Dam, the largest water reservoir in the country, on Sunday. Mangla Dam officials said that the water level touched the maximum level of 1,242 feet. The dame, spread over 125 square kilometres, is left with no more capacity to store the incoming water. The officials said that the dam has recorded the maximum water level for the third time in the current year, attributing it to melting glacial and incessant rains in catchment areas.
