If you’re thinking of going a shade bolder or completely revamping your look with a hair-colour switch, look no further than Dakota Fanning, Lily Allen and Elsa Hosk, who took the leap to go lighter than their original hair hues. Luminous locks paired with laid-back outfits make them our summer-time favourites.

Elsa Hosk

The Victoria’s Secret angel looked a little more than dapper this week in Manhattan, sporting soft make-up, rocking her flaxen locks in beach waves falling on her shoulders. The supermodel turned heads in a grey Mickey Mouse sweatshirt by Junk Food Clothing, red trousers and black ballet flats. The Stockholm-born bombshell polished up her look in trendy red cat-eye shades.

Lily Allen

The Smile singer proved you don’t have to be a natural blonde to have more fun. The singer-actor radiated sass in her platinum-blonde pixie hairdo and red stained lips. Staying true to her quirky yet cool image as she attended a film screening in London, she donned an asymmetric shirt, coupled with an olive-green cropped puffer jacket, which gave a peep at her chiselled stomach.

Dakota Fanning

The actor’s hair was certainly restored to the best of health following her salon appointment this week. Her mane screamed volume as it bounced as she strolled along a sidewalk in Los Angeles. The Runaways star’s new hair-hue added an extra dash of style to her signature look featuring a fitted white vest, ripped black skinny jeans and white trainers.
