At least four people were killed while nine others were injured in separate road mishaps in Kurram Agency and Swat.
Kurram Agency
A car en route to Parachinar overturned in Jabba area of central Kurram Agency. As a result, two people died while five others were wounded.
“The injured were rushed to Agency Headquarters Hospital by locals,” said an official of the political administration. “Children were also injured in the accident.”
In a separate incident, two motorcyclists, Shakir and Hashim, rammed their bikes into a car parked on a road in Alizai tehsil of lower Kurram Agency. Both fell down on the road and were run over by a speeding truck.
Swat
At least four people were injured when a jeep collided with another vehicle in Charbagh tehsil of Swat district. Four people – two from each vehicle – were injured.
They were taken to Saidu Teaching Hospital and are in stable condition.
