Raids and encounters: Two suspected TTP militants arrested

However, three militants managed to flee the scene

SHO Mauripur arrested two suspected Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan militants during a raid at an undisclosed location on Friday.


The SHO had information on the presence of local associates of Abid Muchhar, who was the commander of the Sajna faction of the Tehreek-e-Taliban in Waziristan, South DIG Dr Jameel Ahmed announced at a press conference. Two suspects - Naik Amanullah, son of Mir Daad Khan, and Qari Sajjad, son of Nabi Bukhsh - were arrested, while three militants managed to flee the scene.
