PESHAWAR: People affected by Mudaraba scams are seeking assistance from the National Accountability Bureau as well as the provincial government to recover their money. These investors were conned by a group who allegedly took Rs220 million from them. Muzammil Khan told reporters during a news conference held at Peshawar Press Club that he along with 82 other investors had invested Rs220 million with Kifayatullah and others, who were now reluctant to return their money. “We contacted NAB but we have yet to receive a response,” Khan said. He requested the provincial government to help them recover their money.
