Recreation: Nishtar Hall to be renovated

Reviewed progress on the crafts village project and asked officials to launch construction immediately

PESHAWAR: Secretary for Tourism, Culture and Archaeology Azam Khan has ordered the immediate repair and renovation of Nishtar Hall. According to a statement issued on Wednesday, Azam visited the city’s only cultural hall accompanied by other senior officials of the Directorate of Culture. He assessed the venue’s dilapidated condition and issued directives for its repair. He also reviewed progress on the crafts village project and asked officials to launch construction immediately within the premises of Nishtar Hall. The department director Mehmood Khan, deputy director Ajmal Khan and consultants Arshad Hussain and Naeem Safi were also present on the occasion.
