PESHAWAR: IGP Nasir Khan Durrani said on Wednesday police force was on the frontline of fighting terror, and efforts were afoot to enhance their capabilities through training and provision of better equipment. He was addressing an Eid Milan gathering at Central Police Office (CPO) where staffers were present. According to a handout, the IGP said K-P police had become a role model for other provinces. He said, “Capacity building of the provincial police force is a top priority.” That was the reason why the special combat unit was being formed along the lines of SSG commandoes, said Durrani. He added several training schools had been established to enhance the capacity of the police force in the province.
