MARDAN: The counter-terrorism department in Mardan arrested an alleged extortionist, Ali Rehman, from his house on Wednesday. A press release issued by the department stated they received a tip-off about Rehman being present in the house. The officials raided the house and arrested him. Officials seized a pistol and hand grenade from his possession and took him to an undisclosed location for further investigation. Rehman was wanted by CTD Mardan for his involvement in several cases of extortion.
