Wanted for murder: Suspected militant arrested

PESHAWAR: A suspected Lashkar-e-Islam militant was arrested in the city. The counter-terrorism department’s Shaheen Anti-terrorist Squad arrested Amanullah, a member of the outlawed organisation. A resident of Bara, Khyber Agency he was primarily wanted for killing two women in Hashtnagri in 2013. During preliminary interrogation, Amanullah said he killed the women because of their “bad character.” He was shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
