Two-day pillion riding ban imposed in Sindh for Ramazan 21 procession

Ban extends to Karachi, Hyderabad and Sukkur

KARACHI: The Sindh government on Tuesday imposed a two-day ban on pillion riding ahead of Ramazan 21 procession, Express News reported.

According to a notification issued, pillion riding will be banned in Karachi, Hyderabad and Sukkur on July 8 and 9.

The move is part of security measures adopted for the Youm-e-Ali procession.

Additionally, the traffic police in Karachi has issued a plan of which roads will be closed along with diversions in order to provide a safe and clear path for the Youm-e-Ali procession.

Sabir Hameed | 8 years ago | Reply Time is coming when religious gatherings shall not be productive as used to be in past. Social Media will take over it. Same way the cinemas are gone almost and people go online to watch movies in home. More movies are watched this way and hassle free.
