GWADAR: I recently met Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch. I had heard a lot about his struggle for the cause of education in the province, but his rejection of my school’s land fee exemption application left me shell-shocked.
The chief minister claims to have launched a targeted education operation in Balochistan, but his actions don’t match his words. It seems more like a targeted operation to demoralise impoverished academicians.
I request Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to help the chief minister in actually extirpating the struggles of under-resourced schools in the province.
