Power outages in Makran

Letter July 03, 2015
Power outages during this time of the year are nothing but an act of cruelty

TURBAT: Temperatures in Makran often go up to 47 degrees Celsius during the summer months, with people suffering from extreme dehydration. Power outages during this time of the year are nothing but an act of cruelty.

While Makran is being provided 35 megawatts of electricity from Iran, a question regarding this arises in my mind. How can a nation develop by begging? The government needs to take steps to generate electricity from indigenous resources instead of relying on other countries in order to eliminate power outages.
