Govt to clear adjoining areas of refugees

The police have been issued directives and are planning to take action in this regard.

PESHAWAR: Owing to security concerns, the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government is planning to displace around 7,000 Afghan refugees residing in different camps near the Bacha Khan International Airport.

The police have been issued directives and are planning to take action in this regard.

A department source said refugees living in Upper Tehkal, Lower Tehkal, Abdara, Garhi Sikandar Khan, Badabher and Bara Road areas will have to vacate their residences.
