Sindh is not a fiefdom of the ruling class that allows it to give away land to whoever it please
KARACHI: Ayesha Siddiqa’s article, “Who has ‘Sin’d?’” is an eye-opener for the ruling elite and the so-called nationalists. Those of us who neglect history and choose to turn a blind eye towards it have contributed to the current state that Sindh is in.
I would like to point out here that giving away large swathes of land of the province to powerful quarters is not justified as enough land has been given to these quarters in the past. Sindh is not a fiefdom of the ruling class that allows it to give away land to whoever it pleases. I thank Dr Ayesha for her enlightening piece of history.
