PESHAWAR: PTI provincial coordinator Fazal Muhammad Khan has called for a province-wide strike on Friday against power outages. The central and K-P leadership present at the party’s secretariat in the city accused the Centre of failing to supply uninterrupted power with minimal outages during Ramazan. Fazal said, “There has been unscheduled load-shedding; K-P is deliberately being deprived of its due share of electricity by the federal government.” He added protests will be held on Friday in front of press clubs in every district. “PTI workers will take their demands to the streets and also express solidarity with families of those who died in the Karachi heatwave.” Fazal said Friday’s protests would be followed by more protests if their demands were not met. “Consultations with the  K-P government will be held to chalk out a line of action if our demands are not met” he added.  PTI’s Dr Haider Ali said the central government was playing the blame game despite the deaths of over a thousand people.
