Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan’s 'no-kissing policy' is well known to all fans. But we are afraid this condition might thwart him from bagging some serious blockbusters.

So far his project-platter is full of movies but there are whispers of him being replaced by Sidharth Malhotra in Battle of Bittora, as reported by Filmfare.

Battle of Bittora, starring Sonam Kapoor in the lead is being produced by her sister, Rhea Kapoor. Fawad was supposed to play a prince in the film, a role similar to the one he played in Khoobsurat, which was also produced by Rhea.

Battle of Bittora had some intimate scenes but Fawad made it clear to Rhea that he is not comfortable with kissing scenes. Rhea is now reportedly in talks with Sidharth Malhotra though we are not sure if he is being approached for a new role or to replace Fawad Khan.

Fawad is the only actor to have an unofficial ‘no-kissing’ clause for his upcoming projects. He has previously refused to kiss Alia Bhatt in upcoming film Kapoor & Sons.

The actor has ensured that he will work in Bollywood but on his own terms. He has established a code for himself and would not go against it and offend his core audience.

Fawad has always drawn a line while shooting in his homeland and he does not want to go bold just for the sake of it. The heartthrob believes in creating a sizzling chemistry with his lead actresses without getting physically intimate.

Battle of Bittora is a political drama based on the novel written by Anuja Chauhan in which two ambitious political families fight each other for power. A tale about two childhood sweethearts and the legal heirs of the family thrown at a battlefield where they are expected to win the elections at any cost.

Ashraf | 8 years ago | Reply Pakistani actors are sought after because they come very cheap. INR 10 Lacs will get you a Pakistani superstar whereas you have to pay several crores for an Indian actor.
