MULTAN: The Punjab government has allocated over Rs32 million for conservation of six monuments in south Punjab under two new and four on-going schemes, a spokesman for the Archaeology Department said on Wednesday.

He said Rs4 million had been allocated for the conservation of the mausoleum of Hazrat Mian Sakhi Dalaail in Mailsi. He said under a new scheme, conservation of mausoleum of Hazrat Musa Pak Shaheed at Uch Sharif had been allocated Rs2.615 million. He said the provincial government had also allocated funds for four on-going scheme including Rs2.02 million for Sawi Masjid, Rs1.734 million for the mausoleum of Hazrat Mai Meherban, Rs15 million for mausoleum and mosque of Hazrat Khalid Waleed in Khanewal and Rs7 million for Sargana Masjid in Vehari.
