Helping hand: Malik Riaz pledges funds for Rohingyas

Malik Riaz Hussain has pledged Rs10 crore in aid for the muslims of Myanmar

Malik Riaz Hussain, a Pakistani business magnate and philanthropist, has pledged Rs10 crore in aid for the muslims of Myanmar. Reportedly, in a statement he said that it is extremely sad that this unfortunate incident is not being highlighted thoroughly and that the international community, especially muslims, have not stepped forward to help their brethren. He further added that he will coordinate with the Jamiat-e-Islami and also the Myanmar government to see how best the aid can reach them.  Also he plans to mobilize his own team to see how they can work for the refugees and help support them in their time of crisis. He further stated that if needed the amount will be increased.
