The Auqaf Department has announced that it will offer iftar to zairin at Data Darbar daily during Ramazan.
This was announced at a meeting held at Data Darbar on Friday to review facilities to be provided to devotees during Ramazan, Mehfil Shabeena and the selection of the moakfeen. The participants discussed the arrangements for cleanliness, setting up a medical camp and security arrangements.
Auqaf and Religious Affairs Secretary Muhammad Shahryar Sultan presided over the meeting. Auqaf DG Dr Tahir Raza Bokhari, Finance Director Zareef Iqbal Sitti and Deputy Secretary Jehangir Waraich among other officers attended it. The officers said they would provide the best possible facilities to zairin.
They appreciated the help extended by the police, WASA, TMAs and the Lahore Waste Management Company in this regard.
