Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf MPA and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has been handed over to police for a one-day judicial remand by a judicial magistrate in DI Khan on Tuesday.


Insiders familiar with the matter told The Express Tribune the PTI minister appeared before the court of judicial magistrate Khalid Mansoor.


The court heard two separate cases filed against him. In the first case, the PTI minister was charged with abusing and threatening a police official. The judicial magistrate handed Gandapur in police custody for a one-day judicial remand.


The second case concerned the PTI minister’s attempts to interfere with the electoral process.
