KARACHI: Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah said that his government gives top priority to the development of the social sector, which is why the next Annual Development Programme (ADP) will particularly focus on development. He was speaking to a four-member Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) delegation, comprising Samar Ali Khan, Khurram Sher Zaman, Hafeezuddin and Seema Zia, which met him at CM House on Tuesday. The PTI MPAs complained about the lack of development in their constituencies. Shah, however, said that the government was carrying out development work in Karachi. “I have given Rs100 million to a water pumping station in the Metroville area,” he said. “This scheme has been completed, even though the Pakistan Peoples Party did not win the election from that constituency and the PTI did.” He added that he will inaugurate the scheme soon.
