Insufficient Evidence: Man acquitted of murder charge

The judge has now acquitted Ikram of the charge giving him the benefit of doubt.

LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge on Saturday acquitted a man of murder. Farooq Ikram had said in his FIR that some unidentified people had killed his uncle, Sarfraz Khan, in Millat Park. Muhammad Iqbal, a brother of Khan, had later accused Ikram of killing Khan. On June 11, 2012, Millat Park police had registered an FIR against Ikram under Section 302 (murder) of the Pakistan Penal Code. The judge has now acquitted Ikram of the charge giving him the benefit of doubt.
