Meeting at CM House: Close coordination stressed among intelligence agencies

The corps commander and the chief minister discussed targeted operation, progress in Safoora Goth tragedy case

Corps Commander Karachi Lieutenant General Mukhtar Naveed called on Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah and Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan on Friday.


The meeting agreed to further strengthen coordination among the intelligence agencies in the province to achieve the objectives of the on-going operations, a CM house spokesman said.


The corps commander and the chief minister discussed targeted operation, progress in Safoora Goth tragedy case and the overall law and order situation in the province.


Lt-Gen Mukhtar congratulated the chief minister on the detection of Safoora Goth case and arrest of criminals, including the mastermind of the incident.


In the meeting they reiterated their commitment to purge Karachi of terrorists and criminals.


They said that they stood committed with the people of the city and the whole nation to restore the glories of Karachi.
