GUJRANWALA: The body of a three-year old girl was found from a pile of garbage in the Taj Pura area of Gujranwala on Saturday.
The girl was identified as Samavia. Her body was discovered three days after she went missing.
Samavia’s family accused a man, Abdul Raheem, for her murder. The accused culprit fled from the area but police have taken his relatives into custody for questioning.
Relatives of the murdered girl staged a protest today, blocking a road and setting tyres on fire. They demanded the arrest of the alleged killer.
