Family feud: One killed, another injured in AJK shooting incident

Two rival groups exchanged harsh words over some business dispute in Dhoke village

A man was shot dead while another was injured over a family dispute in the Bhimber district of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).


According to details, the deceased was identified as Kaiser, a resident of Gharah Kharan, Bhimber.


The police said two rival groups exchanged harsh words over some business dispute in Dhoke village and later opened fire on each other in which 30-year-old Kaiser was shot and died on the spot.


Another villager, identified as Muhammad Haji, was also injured in the exchange of fire and was later shifted to Bhimber District Hospital for treatment.


Doctors at the hospital said the injured was in a critical condition. Meanwhile, police have arrested five members of the family who allegedly shot at Kaiser.
