BISE in Turbat

Letter May 07, 2015
I have a tiny problem of changing a date on my Matric certificate and I have been stuck in Quetta for the past 18 days

TURBAT: Turbat has only one branch of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Quetta, which seems to be unable in solving most educational problems that the area faces. The students of Turbat and those living in its close vicinity come with enormous hopes to this branch of BISE in order to resolve their problems but, soon after, they only get disappointed after seeing the way things operate here. The dealings of officers are usually harsh and many often suggest that one should go to Quetta instead of resolving queries of students there and then. Quetta is 1,500 kilometres away from Turbat and arranging for travel is a huge hassle for many people.

I have a tiny problem of changing a date on my Matric certificate and I have been stuck in Quetta for the past 18 days, just to get this issue resolved. I request the authorities concerned to help resolve the problems at BISE. The chief minister of Balochistan has announced a bunch of development projects for Turbat. It would be great if he can also do something about the BISE office in Turbat.
