It's the most exclusive New York event all year but this time we might not get to see so much as according to New York Post, the usage of phones will be heavily monitored at the event, restricting famous Hollywood celebrities from sharing their insights of the event.

Anna Wintour, formidable Vogue editor-in-chief, has stated that she hates 'selfies', but the ban may actually be because Vogue are making a documentary about the event, which means that she wants everything to be kept under wraps until the documentary is released.

Guests have already received notices that clearly forbid the use of phones for photography and social media inside the gala, twitter and instagram are banned as well.
