Joint meeting: MQM says its love for Pakistan unquestionable

Condemns intervention of foreign agencies, including RAW

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) on Sunday said it is a party which represents the founders of the country and the common people of Pakistan and its love for the country is unquestionable.

In the joint meeting of the MQM Rabita Committee in Pakistan and London, the MQM leaders said the party will continue to strive for the rights of the poor and middle classes of the country and is working for Pakistan integrity and security, in spite of injustice and oppression.

The members strongly condemned statements of some political parties and condemnation resolution presented in the provincial assemblies against a recent remark of the party chief Altaf Hussain and said such parties had themselves used derogatory language against security army.

The Rabita Committee also reviewed the current  law and order situation in the country and expressed concern over the growing intervention of foreign spy agencies, including Indian RAW, in destabilizing situation in tribal areas, Balochistan and Sindh.   They also condemned recent Line of Control violations by India.
