MUZAFFARABAD: A 10th grade female student shot herself dead at her residence in the Bagh area, some 130 kilometres from here, after she triggered a gun accidentally.
Police said that Sobia Noor, a resident of Lower Mallot Bagh, shot herself in the head, when she accidentally fired from her father’s rifle.
The police said that the father of the girl was not present at the home, when the incident took place.
The 16-year-old victim was laid to rest at a local graveyard without medico-legal formalities, police said.
