The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has completed the construction of a 2.1-km link road from LOS Ferozeour Road to Multan Road. The road was opened for traffic on Saturday.
An LDA spokesperson said it was the first road in the city that had been built to cover an up to 60-foot-wide Cantt Drain. The three-lane dual carriageway is 11 metres wide on each side. Initially, more than 70,000 vehicles would use the road. Parking lots, footpaths and de-silting chambers have been constructed on both sides of the road.
