South Korea has pledged $78 million for Malakand tunnel construction project

ISLAMABAD: The National Highway Authority (NHA) would build Malakand tunnel to shorten distance for travellers belonging to Dir, Malakand, Swat and adjacent areas and provide Pakistani goods an easy access to Central Asian states. South Korea has pledged $78 million for the Malakand tunnel construction project through the Economic Development Cooperation Fund. The 9.7km project includes three bridges and approach roads on both sides of the tunnel, an official in NHA informed.
