LHC chief justice urges speedy disposal of cases

Civil judges are being inducted into the judiciary to help dispose of cases and targets have been set for speedy trials of cases up to 2007.


This was stated by the Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice Manzoor Ahmad Malik while addressing office bearers of the High Court Bar Association Rawalpindi Bench and bar associations of Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum and Rawalpindi Division. In order to fulfill the shortage of judges, 600 new civil judges will have become part of the judicial system by September 2015 while induction of new additional and sessions judges would also be completed by the end of the year, he said.
