It was almost a British invasion on the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles on Thursday night, as Burberry took over the site to host a glitzy party in celebration of their English roots. Supermodels Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Cara Delevingne flashed plenty of glamour and style at the star-packed event.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

Hair and make-up

Rosie was a sight for sore eyes. With highlighted cheekbones paired with a deep crimson-hued lip, the star dazzled in the luminous-makeup look like no other. Adding a bunch of volume to her hair, the supermodel sported her blonde bobbed tresses in a flowy side part.

Outfit

The Transformers actor wowed in a multicoloured mini dress from Burberry’s AW15 collection. Comprising a blue-hued long sleeve bodice and floral high-waisted skirt, the dress featured an A-line cut, deep V neckline and vintage style patterns; it looked like we were back in the 1970s.

Accessories

The 27-year-old displayed her endless pins in a pair of strappy nude coloured high heels and an elegant velour box clutch. She kept the bling factor to an absolute minimum by sporting her million watt smile and glamming up with some diamond finger rings.

Cara Delevingne

Hair and make-up

The supermodel had her beachy dirty-blonde locks styled in loose curls and displayed her signature thick eyebrows with style. Flaunting her flawless complexion, Cara rocked a restrained mauve pink glossy lipstick, grey smokey eye make-up and an au naturel cheek sans contouring or bronzer.

Outfit

Channelling 18th Century military style in an up-to-the-minute fashion, the model-turned-actor arrived in a black and gold statement blazer-style jacket dress by Burberry with her lissom legs standing to attention. Cara showcased an androgynous style with uber femininity and regal appeal.

Accessories

Staying true to her military-inspired look, the 22-year-old teamed her ensemble with black lace up ankle boots by Burberry and very little else. Adding a red manicure, the Paper Towns actor was effortlessly sensual and reminded us as to why she’s been voted British Model of the Year twice.
