PESHAWAR: Awami National Party-Wali (ANP-W) leader and former union council nazim Irshad Thundar joined the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on Wednesday. Addressing a news conference at the Peshawar Press Club, Thundar said PTI chief Iman Khan was following the ideology of Bacha Khan which has been ignored by ANP leader Asfandyar Wali and other successors of the founder of Khudai-e-Khidmatgar Movement. Thundar had earlier been associated with ANP before he left to join ANP-W formed by Begum Nasim Wali. “Imran Khan is the only hope for people in the current corrupt political set-up and can bring the nation out of this quagmire by the devolution of powers to the grassroots,” said the former ANP leader.
