Postings: Seven SHOs appointed

KARACHI:

At least seven more station house officers (SHOs) were appointed by Karachi AIG Ghulam Qadir Thebo in the Central and West zones on Tuesday.

The notification for the appointments was also issued. Seventeen SHOs were appointed in the city's three zones last month, while sources in the police department said that around 40 more SHOs are likely to be transferred and posted in the upcoming days.

The seven SHOs appointed were Inspector Humayyun in Azizabad police station, Inspector Ghulam Nabi Afridi in Taimuria police station, Inspector Idress Alam Bangash in Hyderi police station, Sub-inspector (SI) Aslam Jatt in Gulberg police station, SI Obaidullah in New Karachi Industrial Area police station, SI Shahzad Ilyas in SITE B Section police station and SI Muhammad Sabir in Mominabad police station.
