ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has canceled the allotment of 15 houses, which were under non-conforming use in different residential sectors of Islamabad.  CDA has also requested Islamabad Electric Supply Company(IESCO) for immediate disconnection of electricity supply of these houses. These houses were used for commercial ventures instead of residential purpose and CDA initially served the owners of these houses with notices and after proceedings in the court of Deputy Commissioner CDA, the allotments of these houses were canceled. In order to discourage the commercial activities in the residential areas, CDA has also written a letter to IESCO for disconnection of electricity supply which would help curb non-conforming use in the residential sectors. These houses were located in sector F-6, F-7,F-10 and E-7.
