Barely a week after former 1D star was accused of cheating on his fiancee Perrie Edwards, the couple was spotted house-hunting together for their wedding home.
Accompanied by Zayn's mother Trisha, the rock star and his fiancee Perrie Edwards viewed a £2 million mock-Tudor mansion located in Hertfordshire 30 miles outside London. The house is set over four acres of land and is equipped with seven bedrooms, five bathrooms, four reception rooms, a gym and games room.
The couple began dating in 2011 and announced their engagement in August 2013. However wedding bells were put on the back burner because of Zayn's commitments to One Direction and Perrie's to her band Little Mix.
After Zayn announced his decision to quit One Direction, and rumours regarding him cheating on Edwards surfaced, mutual friends have claimed that the two are expected to tie the knot this spring. Perrie Edwards look unfazed by the rumours of the past week as the couple looked the perfect picture of togetherness as they viewed the property together.
The Mirror reports: "When Zayn proposed to Perrie nearly two years ago it was so he could marry her," a source told the paper. "However, because of the touring and making the new album, the time simply wasn't going to be there in the foreseeable future.
"Now though, he wants to make that right and get married as soon as they can plan that day they have been dreaming of since Zayn asked Perrie to marry him back in 2013. Neither of them can wait now that they have the chance to do that."
