Zohaib Sehra and Nasir Owais bagged three wickets each to help Pakistan Navy register their second victory in the Patron’s Trophy Grade II tournament after defeating Customs by nine wickets in the fourth round at the NBP Stadium in Karachi on Monday.


Customs were restricted to 245 in their second innings, setting a target of 70 runs to Navy, which the eventual winners achieved in the 12th over of their second innings as Hamza Ghanchi scored 46 runs.


In the other match, Sindh Police defeated Medicam by six wickets as Abdul Jabbar, Sheraz Ali and Qamber Iqbal scored 62, 51 and 50 respectively. At the Rana Naveed Academy, KPT registered their second successive victory after thrashing Railways by 10 wickets.


Meanwhile, Service Industries and HEC won their first matches of the tournament, beating Face Fresh and Dollar East by 46 runs and six wickets respectively.
