“Energy projects will help overcome power shortage in the country,” says president

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan President Mamnoon Hussain has said that the economy of the country has improved as a result of prudent policies adopted by the government. Addressing convocation of Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences on Tuesday, the president said that Pakistan has initiated a number of infrastructure and development projects in cooperation with China. He said implementation of these projects is imperative for development of the country. He added that the Pak-China Economic Corridor will bring an economic revolution in the country and help create a huge number of employment opportunities. “Energy projects will help overcome power shortage in the country,” he said. He said nuclear energy has a vital role in development and prosperity of the country.
