Askari Bank wins 1-Link Award

The awards were conferred on the basis of transactional volumes of 38 1-Link member banks

KARACHI: Askari Bank has bagged the 1-Link Award for funds transfers and utility bills payments via the 1-Link network of ATMs. Farrukh Iqbal Khan, the group head operations, received the award, in acknowledgement of Askari Bank’s exceptional services in Alternate Delivery Channels (ADC) for the categories of Top-3 Inter Bank Funds Transfer Initiating Bank and Top-3 Utility Bills Payment Initiating Bank, a press release said. The awards were conferred on the basis of transactional volumes of 38 1-Link member banks, including commercial and microfinance banks, for the year 2014, the press release added. This achievement is a reflection of the bank’s continuous efforts to enhance the level of customer experience and confidence in ADC-related financial services, added the release.
