LAHORE:

A district and sessions court on Tuesday directed the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) director to look into the Faisal Younis controversy on a petition against the pilot.

Petitioner Chaudhry Muhammad Saeed told the court that the media had revealed that Younis, a brother of the national cricket team coach Waqar Younis, had been employed at Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) as a pilot on bogus educational qualifications. Saeed asked the court to request the FIA to register a case against Younis.

The court directed the FIA director to look into the matter and proceed in accordance with law.
