Corps Commanders Conference discusses security situation, Zarb-e-Azb

Professional matters of the Pakistan Army also came under discussion

RAWALPINDI: The 180th Corps Commanders’ Conference headed by army chief General Raheel Sharif undertook a comprehensive review of operational preparedness, as well as the prevalent internal and external security situation of the country. 

According to ISPR, progress on the continuing operation against militants, Zarb-e-Azb was also reviewed in the meeting, held in Rawalpindi on Tuesday.

Professional matters of the Pakistan Army also came under discussion.

Following the implementation of the National Action Plan across the country, several security operations are under way to eradicate terrorism from the country.
