Education woes: Nurses continue sit-in

LAHORE: Student nurses continued their protest sit-in on Sunday against Shaikha Fatima Institute of Nursing and Health Sciences administration for the third day. The protesters gathered outside the institute and blocked its entrances. Later, when it began to rain, the protesters moved indoor where they said they would stay till the administration took concrete steps to ensure affiliation of the school to the Pakistan Nursing Council. The administration held several meetings with the protesters and tried to persuade them to call off their protest.
