New portfolio: Tehsina appointed NLA head

The establishment division has appointed Tehsina Jahan as the executive director of the National Language Authority (NLA). Jahan, who was previously general manager at the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC), has taken over the charge at NLA. Jahan said as the NLA chief, she would work to promote national languages. She also assured NLA workers of resolving their problems on a priority basis.
