Curbing Sex Trade: Gang involved in human trafficking busted

She woke up to find herself at an unknown location.

HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad police claim to have arrested a gang in Matiari on Friday. The gang was accused of kidnapping and selling women for prostitution in different areas of Sindh and Punjab.

The Market police raided a house located in the riverbed area of New Saeedabad on Friday evening to recover S*, who was kidnapped six months ago from Hyderabad. S was a mother of four children and a medical representative. She told the police that she had gone for a job interview when she was drugged. Later, she woke up to find herself at an unknown location. The arrested suspects have been identified as Bachal Hajano, Shakil, Asim and Babar alias Babbi. Two female suspects, Mona and Tasleem, have also been arrested. The suspects revealed that they had kidnapped and sold 17 women so far, mostly in Punjab.
