LAHORE:

Four teams from the LUMS Centre for Entrepreneurship (MARO Tandoors, Fictive Lab, Appify System and H&O Solution) made it to the top 25 of the second Pakistan Startup Cup, which was recently held in Lahore.

The two-day event included the “Build a Business” workshop for entrepreneurs aspiring to develop their ideas into concrete businesses.

MARO Tandoors – a food based startup – presented an idea to setup a network of ‘Tandoors’ that provide healthy naan, roti and other value-added products.

Fictive Lab developed ‘Interact’, which makes home appliances accessible via a mobile application. H&O Services – a home services specialist company – places, manages and verifies blue collar workers for all kinds of repair, maintenance and informal services in small businesses and middle income homes.
