The cloak failed to fall free and seemed to get stuck in a dancer’s horns, pulling the Material Girl down.

Madonna was ironically singing the lyrics: "Not gonna stop, gonna carry on."

Although the fall was pretty embarrassing and became the "talk of the night," the 56-year-old proved she's a true professional in any situation as she managed to carry on. She casually removed the cape and gave a stomping performance. The singer completed the performance, singing the lyrics: "Lifted me up, and watched me stumble."

However, social media, twitter, wasn't exactly sympathetic with their reactions and comments towards Madonna's dramatic fall.

Madonna took the opportunity and replied to the anxiously waiting audience who were quite entertained by her 'fall'.
