LAHORE: A local court in Lahore issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Superintendent Police (SP) Gadap Town Karachi, Rao Nawaz for his alleged involvement in two murder cases.

Police claim the murders of Marvi and Naina were carried out at SP Rao Nawaz's behest.

A suspended constable of Sindh Police, Abdul Rauf, who was arrested by Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) Iqbal Town told investigators he killed Actress Naina and another girl, Misbah, on the direction of SP Rao Nawaz.

He said he committed the murders in Lahore in 1995.

After no response from the Sindh Government, police acquired a non-bailable arrest warrant for Rao Nawaz who is serving as SP Gandap Town in Karachi.

The court has ordered to produce Rao Nawaz on December 13.
